The small industrial zone “Tinchlik” in Yangiyul district occupies a special place in the economy of Tashkent region. The enterprises operating here produce localized products demanded in the market.
With the growth of the population and the economy, demand for energy sources is increasing. For example, over the past four years, electricity consumption in Tashkent region has increased by 20 percent. To cover the deficit in this sphere, 5 projects with a total cost of $1.5 billion and a capacity of more than 805 megawatts are being implemented.
At the same time, great attention is paid to “green” energy sources. “Enter Green Solar” enterprise in the small industrial zone ‘”Tinchlik” produces solar panels and various cables necessary for solar energy.
The Head of State got acquainted with the project during his visit to the industrial zone.
– We should support domestic enterprises producing such high-tech products and create more conditions for expanding their activities, – said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
Equipment of Italian company “Ecoprogetti” has been installed at the enterprise worth $7 million. It is used to produce 377 thousand high-quality solar panels per year. The enterprise itself also has 125 kilowatt panels. There are 100 people working here.
