President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed the project for a fountain complex to be built in New Tashkent.
In the country, special attention is paid to the creation of modern public spaces for recreation, entertainment, and cultural leisure. Such projects enhance the urban landscape, create a comfortable environment for recreation, and increase the flow of both domestic and international visitors.
In New Tashkent, the construction of a musical fountain complex covering an area of about 8 hectares is planned.
According to the project, the fountain will be built within a basin with a total water surface area of 6.3 hectares, enabling water, music, and light shows across an area of 1.5 hectares. The complex will feature a super-fountain capable of reaching heights of up to 232 meters, as well as a floating platform with a diameter of 100 meters.
The fountain will be able to create a circular water screen with a radius of 185 meters, onto which various images can be projected in a 360-degree format.
The project also includes the use of powerful laser beams, dynamic water compositions, and a range of visual effects. Pumping systems, electrical equipment, laser projectors, and other technical installations will be housed in a two-storey underground structure.
Green areas and service facilities are planned around the water body. The complex is expected to become one of New Tashkent’s key attractions, enhancing the city’s architectural appearance and serving as a modern venue for cultural events, holidays, and festivals.
The Head of State paid particular attention to the project’s concept, its technical solutions, and the comprehensive development of the surrounding area. He emphasized the importance of ensuring high-quality retail, dining, and service facilities for visitors. The need to hold large-scale Independence Day events at this venue this year was also noted.
