President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the NovoPlast TPE enterprise in the Chirchik Chemical-Industrial Technopark.
The project was implemented in cooperation with the Russian company VR Plast on a site covering 4,200 square meters. The total cost of the project is $5.4 million.
The enterprise has established a modern laboratory and launched innovative production lines. Today, the company is among the leading domestic producers of thermoplastic elastomer granules and finished products manufactured from them.
It produces high-quality thermoplastic elastomers, seals for doors and window frames, hoses for the technical and food industries, as well as a wide range of polymer products for the construction and electrical engineering sectors.
The key advantages of the products are their high strength and resistance to deformation and environmental factors. Thanks to these properties, they are widely used in the construction, automotive, food, and electrical engineering industries.
The enterprise also includes a modern research center, where new thermoplastic elastomer formulations are developed in line with the requirements of Asian and European markets. In addition, finished granules, seals, and high-pressure hoses are tested for compliance with international standards.
The project has created 58 new jobs. In 2025, it produced goods worth 103 billion soums, including exports valued at $5 million.
Another important result of the enterprise’s operations is its contribution to import substitution. In particular, import-substituting products worth $8.5 million were produced in 2025.
The enterprise plans to increase production to 177 billion soums and raise the share of exports to 60 percent. The implementation of these plans will enable the company not only to meet domestic market demand but also to further strengthen its position in the markets of Central Asia and other foreign countries.
