The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Bukhara to participate in the second day of the Uzbekistan–Azerbaijan summit.
The visit began with a pilgrimage to the Bahauddin Naqshband Mausoleum. Verses from the Qur’an were recited, and prayers were offered for the peace and prosperity of our people.
The complex is regarded as one of the most significant sacred sites in the Islamic world. Built around the burial place of Bahauddin Naqshband, the founder of the Naqshbandiyya Sufi order, the memorial complex now comprises a mausoleum, a khanqah, mosques, a necropolis, and a museum dedicated to the history of Sufism.
