The working visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Kazakhstan has concluded.
During the first half of the day, the Head of State took part in the opening ceremony of the Regional Ecological Summit and visited the EXPO International Exhibition Center, where he viewed the national pavilions of Uzbekistan and other countries, and held a meeting with Inger Andersen, Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Programme.
On the same day, the Leader of Uzbekistan delivered an address at the meeting of the Council of Heads of Founder States of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea.
Following the completion of the program, the President departed for Tashkent. At Astana International Airport, he was seen off by Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of National Economy ofKazakhstan Serik Zhumangarin, and other officials.
