
On April 29–30, the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Andrej Babiš, will pay an official visit to Uzbekistan.
In accordance with the program of the visit, high-level talks will be held in Tashkent, during which prospects for further advancing multifaceted Uzbek–Czech cooperation will be considered.
The focus will be on increasing mutual trade and deepening cooperation in mechanical engineering, green energy, chemistry, pharmaceuticals, and transport. Cooperation in the cultural, humanitarian, and educational spheres will be discussed.
The sides will also exchange views on international issues, including mutual support in multilateral forums.
A package of bilateral documents is expected to be signed following the meeting.
As part of the visit, Prime Minister Andrej Babiš will also take part in the Uzbek–Czech Business Forum.
