The intensive program of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s stay in Kazan has concluded.
At the end of the working visit, the Head of our State departed for Tashkent. The distinguished guest was escorted at the airport by Rustam Minnikhanov, Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan, and other officials.
The President of Uzbekistan addressed the plenary session of the “BRICS Plus” summit with important initiatives aimed at achieving common goals of sustainable development.
On the margins of the event, the Leader of our country held meetings and talks with President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdulfattah al-Sisi, Prime Minister of the Republic of India Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Pham Minh Chinh, President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the New Development Bank Dilma Rousseff, Chairman of the Board of Sberbank Herman Gref.
The ceremony of awarding President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev with the state award of the Republic of Tatarstan – the Order “Duslyk” for significant contribution to the development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Tatarstan, strengthening friendship and mutual understanding between peoples also was held.
