President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Ethno-town established in the city of Termez.
The project has been implemented as a cultural and recreational space with modern infrastructure, showcasing the history of Surkhandarya, its traditional crafts, and the region’s artistic heritage.
The complex was built with an investment of $10 million. Covering an area of six hectares, the complex includes buildings designed in a historical style, a family guesthouse, a dombra workshop, an exhibition dedicated to bakhshi art, a national cuisine restaurant, a children’s playground, and musical fountains.
The Ethno-town has the capacity to accommodate up to 180,000 tourists annually and will create 250 permanent jobs. Visitors can not only purchase handcrafted products but also observe the process of their creation.
The President reviewed the facilities within the tourist complex, spoke with artisans, and watched an artistic program prepared for visitors.
