As a result of the talks held in the city of Ulaanbaatar, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh signed a Joint declaration on establishing relations of comprehensive partnership.
Additionally in the presence of the Presidents the following documents were signed:
– agreements on cooperation in the field of plant quarantine and protection, in the field of higher education, in the field of mining, in the field of environmental protection, in crime prevention and control, in the field of health care and medical science, in the field of physical education and sports;
– Protocol on cooperation between the archival agencies of the two countries;
– Cooperation programs between the Ministry of investment, industry and trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of economy and development of Mongolia, between the Ministries of foreign affairs for 2026-2027, between the Ministry of culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of culture, sport, tourism and youth of Mongolia for 2025-2028;
– Cooperation plan between the Ministry of agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of food, agriculture and light industry of Mongolia to expand cooperation in the field of agriculture;
– Action Plan between the Ministry of ecology, environmental protection and climate change of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of culture, sports, tourism and youth of Mongolia in the field of ecotourism.
