In the framework of the trip to Parkent district President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the touristic complex on the “Oltin Bel” top and a range of new projects.
On the three hectares of the mountain slope a modern hotel complex was built. Currently there are two hotels with the total capacity of 188 places, compact capsule-type houses, a restaurant and household structures. It is envisaged to create 20 similar houses at the next stage.

Overall for the development of tourism field in the region it’s planned to implement 52 projects worth $1.8 billion. As a result 3300 new jobs will be created, and touristic objects will be able to service up to 1 million people.
The snowy mountain of Parkent open up opportunities for another major project – construction of a ski resort at 1200 hectares with participation of an Austrian company.
The Head of State was presented information on the project. Within its framework it’s planned to create 3-star, 4-star and 5-star hotels, ski slopes, ski lifts, chalets, picnic zones, restaurants and health complexes.
The project is implemented in three stages and upon its completion will be able to receive up to 15 thousand tourists per day. 600 service objects will be created. Considering the seasonal service the total number of new jobs will reach 10 thousand.
It’s expected that this resort will become one of the largest touristic centers of Tashkent region – on an equal basis with the already known “Amirsoy” complex in Bostanlyk district.
During the meeting with the specialists measures on developing the project, expanding the range of proposed services and accelerating the construction works were discussed.
