On March 6, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
There was an exchange of views on topical aspects of bilateral agenda.
The parties discussed the issues of maintaining the dynamics of growth of trade turnover, promoting investment projects and expanding industrial cooperation in various sectors of the economy with the participation of leading companies and enterprises of the two countries.
The sides paid particular attention to further enhancing interregional cooperation and intensifying cultural and humanitarian exchange.
The Presidents also considered the issues of regional cooperation.
