The President of our country has cordially congratulated the President of the UAE on his birthday, sincerely wishing him a sound health and well-being, great success in his state activities, as well as peace and prosperity to the friendly people of the country.
Following the talks, the prospects for further expansion of multifaceted cooperation, primarily in the spheres of trade, investment, innovation and high technology, “green” energy, agriculture, logistics, and transport have been discussed.
It was satisfactorily noted that the Uzbek-Emirati relations have been dynamically developing in recent years. The volumes of mutual trade have doubled over the past year. There are 240 joint ventures in Uzbekistan, the portfolio of projects has exceeded $3 billion.
A mutual interest in implementing new cooperation projects in petrochemical, food industry, infrastructure development, mining and metallurgical industries, as well as increasing financial and technical cooperation programs, and cultural and humanitarian exchanges has been emphasized.
The phone call between Uzbek and UAE Leaders took place in a traditionally open, warm and friendly atmosphere.
