Uzbek President’s Visit to China Held Fruitfully

An eventful program of state visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has concluded.

During his stay in Xi’an, the head of our state held talks with the President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping, following which the Leaders signed a Joint Statement and adopted a Program of Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Development in a New Era for 2023-2027.

A total of 41 bilateral documents have been signed during the visit, along with agreements reached at the joint business events on the implementation of new industrial, trade and investment projects worth over $25 billion.

The President also visited the exhibition of Uzbek-Chinese cooperation, launched new joint projects, and held a meeting with Chinese business circles.

In addition, the President attended the First Central Asia-China Summit, and delivered a number of important proposals and initiatives in bolstering regional cooperation.

The distinguished guest was seen off at the airport by the Chinese Minister of Culture and Tourism Hu Heping, the Governor of Shaanxi Province Zhao Gang and the guard of honor.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has left for Tashkent.
