The busy schedule of the working visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the United States of America has concluded.
During his stay in Washington D.C., the head of our state held productive talks with President Donald Trump at the White House and took part in the summit of leaders of Central Asian countries and the United States in the “C5+1” format.
Agreements were reached on the further development of Uzbek-American strategic partnership relations and the deepening of cooperation between Central Asia and the United States in the “C5+1” format.
The leader of our country also met with Senator Steven Daines, congressmen Bill Huizenga, Carol Miller and Sydney Kamlager-Dove.
The President of Uzbekistan received US Secretary of Commerce Howard Lattnik, President and Chairman of Eximbank John Jovanovic, Chief Executive Officer of the International Development Finance Corporation Ben Black, and Global Executive Director of General Motors Shilpan Amin.
As part of the business program of the visit, a round table was held with the participation of the U.S. business community.
Following the meetings and negotiations, a number of bilateral and multilateral documents were adopted.
At the end of the visit, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan departed for Tashkent.
