The sides discussed renewing and expanding the locomotive fleet, taking into account the development of the country’s railway infrastructure and transit potential.
The meeting also covered the supply of locomotives with long-term servicing, with the participation of U.S. financial institutions. The sides discussed establishing maintenance services and component production in Uzbekistan, as well as personnel training.
They also addressed the establishment of a service center for mining equipment used by the country’s mining enterprises and cooperation on diesel generator sets.
