On the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, on June 21 the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev arrived in Uzbekistan on a state visit.
The Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and other officials met a High guest at the Tashkent International Airport.
The main events of the visit shall take place today. During the talks at the highest level, the sides shall discuss further consolidation of the Uzbek-Azerbaijani relations of strategic partnership and deepening the multifaceted cooperation.
On the outcomes of the summit, Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan shall sign the bilateral documents in the industry, agriculture, transport, energy, science and innovations, tourism and others.
Tomorrow the leader of Azerbaijan will see the historical monuments of the city of Khiva.
