On July 24, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a series of telephone conversations with the Presidents and authoritative politicians of foreign countries.
The foreign partners warmly congratulated the President on his birthday, addressing sincere wishes of a sound health, prosperity and great success in implementing the strategy of large-scale reforms and transformations aimed at radically improving the living standards of the population, strengthening the institutions of democratic society, modernizing the economy and strengthening the international authority of the country.
The pragmatic and proactive foreign policy of the Leader of Uzbekistan was particularly noted which has made it possible to significantly raise the level of partnership of Uzbekistan with the countries of the world and multilateral structures in a short time, as well as to fill it with a concrete subctance.

The President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin has emphasized that under the leadership of the President of Uzbekistan, the country is successfully advancing along the path of economic and social development, as well as plays a constructive role in the international affairs.
The President of Russia has also announced the Decree signed the other day on awarding President Shavkat Mirziyoyev a high state award of Russia – the Order of Alexander Nevskiy, for great merits in strengthening friendship and bilateral cooperation.
During the telephone conversation, the implementation of the agreements of the high-level meetings was reviewed. The importance of continuing the active work as a part of effective cooperation mechanisms imposed to maintain the high dynamics of trade and economic cooperation and promote the priority cooperation projects was emphasized.
The Leaders of Uzbekistan and Russia also noted with satisfaction the productive contacts and exchanges at the interregional level, and called for their further expansion.
In a telephone conversation, the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan has reiterated his full support for the decisive actions of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to ensure stability and sustainable development in the country and the Central Asian region.
The topical issues of development of the Uzbek-Turkish comprehensive strategic partnership were considered.
A special attention was paid to the practical implementation of agreements at the highest level, including on increasing the volume of mutual trade, accelerating the investment projects in the energy sector, agriculture, industry, construction, modernizing tourism infrastructure, as well as intensifying humanitarian exchanges.
The practical significance of the initiative to launch multilateral consultations at the level of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Transport of Uzbekistan, Turkey and Azerbaijan was noted.
The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed confidence that the successful implementation of the large-scale reforms initiated by the President of Uzbekistan shall serve as a guarantee of sustainable growth, contribute to the speedy achievement of high goals and objectives for building a New Uzbekistan.
The issues of further strengthening the Uzbek-Kazakh relations of strategic partnership and alliance, expanding a multifaceted cooperation between the two countries were considered.
The importance of accelerating cooperation projects in the trade and logistics, industry, and the agro-industrial complex was emphasized. An agreement was reached to continue a close cooperation at the level of the governments of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.

We are working on promising projects in the mechanical engineering, the agro-industrial complex, the chemical, pharmaceutical and electrical industries, and other areas of practical cooperation.
In a telephone conversation with the Chairwoman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko, the issues of further development and deepening a multifaceted cooperation between the two countries were considered.
