The Summit of the Organization of Turkic States was held in Samarkand under the chairmanship of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
At the meeting of the Council of the Heads of State, the President of Uzbekistan has put forward important proposals and initiatives aimed at further consolidation and full realization of Turkic States’ huge potential. Following the summit, the leaders signed the Samarkand Declaration and a number of other documents, planted trees at Registan Complex.
The working visit of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Samarkand has come to an end and he returned to Tashkent.
