On July 24 a telephone conversation was held between President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
At the beginning of the conversation, the head of Türkiye warmly congratulated the leader of our country on his birthday, sincerely wishing good health, prosperity, and great success, peace, and progress to the brotherly people of Uzbekistan.
Issues of further development of Uzbek-Turkish relations of comprehensive strategic partnership and multifaceted cooperation were discussed.
The current high level of interstate cooperation was noted with particular satisfaction. Fruitful contacts continue at various levels, trade turnover, cargo turnover, and investment indicators are growing, and the number of joint ventures and the frequency of flights are increasing. Cultural and humanitarian events are being held.
During the telephone conversation, the Presidents of Uzbekistan and Türkiye paid special attention to the thorough preparation of the upcoming regular meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council.
An exchange of views on the current regional agenda also took place.
