On October 20, at the invitation of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev departed for Turkmenistan on an official visit.
It is envisaged to hold the high-level talks, which will bring the relations of strategic partnership between the two countries to a new level, as well as signing more than ten documents on the priority areas of cooperation.
The opening of the Tashkent Park in Ashgabat and launching the construction of the «Khorezm-Dashoguz» cross-border trade zone will also be important events of the visit.
