On July 12, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev received Chairman of the Eurasian Economic Commission Board Mikhail Myasnikovich.
The priority directions of the mutually beneficial cooperation in the Eurasian Economic Union were discussed, primarily in trade, industrial cooperation, transport and logistics, innovations, migration and tourism.
The President has highlighted the well-established systemic interaction of Uzbekistan with the Organization’s structures as an observer state.
The Memorandum and Action Plan by 2023 is being implemented. Today, a list of additional areas of cooperation was signed.
The positive growth dynamics of mutual trade and investment indicators with the EAEU countries was noted with satisfaction.
A particular attention was paid to further reduction of trade barriers, strengthening industrial cooperation and stimulation of business contacts, development of project cooperation, promotion of projects and programs in the field of transit, simplification of migration procedures and expansion of tourism exchange.
The agreement was reached on holding the next meeting of the joint Working Group.
