On September 15-16 this year, at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin will pay a visit to our country as a part of the program of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit, held in the city of Samarkand.
The agenda of the bilateral talks between the leaders of Uzbekistan and Russia includes the issues of further strengthening the relations of strategic partnership and alliance, as well as increasing trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
A special attention will be paid to expanding the industrial cooperation, intensifying the interregional and business contacts, promoting the joint economic projects and humanitarian programs.
Along with this, the Presidents will exchange views on the topical issues of the international and regional agenda.
President Vladimir Putin will also take part in the events of the next meeting of the Council of Heads of the SCO Member States.
