The Uzbek-European summit talks concluded with a joint tree planting ceremony.
President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the European Council António Costa and President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen together planted two oak trees in the alley of the Congress Center in Samarkand.
The planting of trees has become another symbol of strengthening relations of friendship, multifaceted cooperation and partnership between Uzbekistan and the European Union.
