President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived to the city of Khujand with a working visit.
At the airport, the President of Uzbekistan was greeted by the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon.
In honor of the arrival of the Uzbek leader, national flags were raised. Cultural and artistic figures presented national musical and dance performances.
Today, a trilateral meeting will take place between the Presidents of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan.
The agenda will include discussions on further strengthening the relations of friendship, good-neighborliness, and strategic partnership, as well as expanding trade, economic, and cultural-humanitarian cooperation.
Following the negotiations, the signing of the Agreement on the intersection point of the state borders of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan is planned.
The Presidents will also participate in a joint concert by masters of the arts.
