President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived on a working in Saint Petersburg.
The distinguished guest was welcomed by the governor of Saint Petersburg Alexander Beglov and other officials at Pulkovo International Airport.
In the framework of the visit on December 21-22, the leader of Uzbekistan will take part in the regular Supreme Eurasian Economic Council meeting in an observer status and the informal summit of the leaders of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
The agenda of the summits includes topical issues of further expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in the framework of the mentioned multilateral associations.
Traditionally, the main results of the joint work will be summarized and an exchange of views will take place on priority areas of practical cooperation next year.
