
On October 23, at the invitation of the President of the European Council António Costa, and the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev departed to the city of Brussels on an official visit.
In the framework of the visit, the Head of our state will hold talks with the leaders of the European Union in the capital of Belgium. Issues of further expansion and deepening of multifaceted relations will be considered.
It’s envisioned to sign the Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between Uzbekistan and the EU.
Additionally, meetings are planned with the King Philippe of the Belgians, as well as representatives of the leading European companies and financial organizations.
