At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a state visit to this country on July 2-4.
According to the program of the visit, the second session of the Supreme Interstate Council and other high-level events will be held on July 2-3 in the city of Baku.
Issues of further strengthening of Uzbek-Azerbaijani relations of friendship, strategic partnership and alliance, as well as expanding cooperation and exchanges in priority areas of cooperation, will be reviewed.
On July 4 in the city of Khankendi, the President of Uzbekistan will participate in the 17th summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization and hold a range of bilateral meetings.
