The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay an official visit to Iran on June 18 at the invitation of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ebrahim Raisi.
The programme of his stay in Tehran includes high-level meetings of our head of state with President of Iran Ebrahim Raisi and Supreme Spiritual Leader of Iran Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei.
During the talks, topical issues of further development of multi-faceted relations between Uzbekistan and Iran and practical interaction in priority directions will be discussed. There will also be an exchange of views on the regional agenda.
The President of Uzbekistan will also visit an exhibition “Iran’s Achievements in Innovation and Technology”, featuring products of Iran’s major research and production institutions.
A number of documents aimed at developing comprehensive practical cooperation are expected to be signed during the visit.
