
The productive Uzbek-Turkmen summit has concluded.
Talks were held between President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President Serdar Berdimuhamedow in narrow and expanded formats, during which topical issues of further expanding the Uzbek-Turkmen relations of friendship, good-neighborliness and strategic partnership were discussed.
The Heads of state launched the joint “Shavat-Dashoguz” cross-border trade zone.
The President of Uzbekistan solemnly awarded President Serdar Berdimuhamedov the Order “Oliy Darajali Dustlik”.
The Presidents signed a Joint Statement and delivered statements to the media sharing the assessment of the results of the talks.
During his visit to Tashkent, the President of Turkmenistan also participated in the seventh Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia.
At the conclusion of the events of the program, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev saw off President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at the Tashkent-Humo International Airport.
