As part of his official visit to Serbia, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, accompanied by the First Lady, attended an official reception held in honor of his visit.
The distinguished guests were welcomed by President Aleksandar Vučić and First Lady Tamara Vučić of Serbia, Speaker of the National Assembly Ana Brnabić, Prime Minister Đuro Macut, and other officials.
During the event, the historic significance of the first official visit by the President of Uzbekistan to Serbia was emphasized, as it opens new opportunities for further expanding and strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
Particular attention was given to the traditionally friendly nature of relations between the peoples of Uzbekistan and Serbia.
In honor of the Uzbek delegation’s visit, the Kula Belgrade skyscraper was illuminated in the colors of the national flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
