The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, on an official visit to the Russian Federation, arrived from Kazan to Moscow.
The Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of Trade and Industry of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov and other officials met the Head of our state at the Vnukovo-2 airport.
The state flags of Uzbekistan and Russia were raised and a guard of honor was lined up in honor of the distinguished guest.
In accordance with the visit program, on October 6 the two leaders will hold talks in narrow and extended formats. The issues of further strengthening comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance in Uzbek-Russian relations will be discussed.
The meeting will review the status and prospects of expanding comprehensive cooperation in the political, trade-economic, investment, transport and communication, cultural and humanitarian spheres and other priority areas. Views will be exchanged on topical issues of regional and international agenda.
The President of Uzbekistan will hold talks with the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin as well.
