The working visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Tajikistan has concluded.
As part of a busy program of high-level events in the city of Khujand, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held talks with President Emomali Rahmon, and participated in a joint meeting of the leaders of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan.
A ceremony was held to unveil the symbolic Friendship Stele, and the historic Treaty on the border junction of the three countries was signed.
The leaders visited the historical and cultural complex of the Khujand Fortress and attended a joint concert featuring masters of the arts.
At the airport, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev was seen off by President Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan.
The President of Uzbekistan departed for the city of Tashkent.
