In the presence of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the European Council António Costa and President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen an agreement has been signed on establishing a regional office of the European Investment Bank in our country.
The European Investment Bank, established in 1958, is the leading financial institution of the EU.
It should be noted that the opening of the office in Tashkent will allow expanding mutually beneficial cooperation and increasing the volume of attracted investments in the development of “green” economy, innovative industry and modern infrastructure in Uzbekistan and Central Asia as a whole.
