At the beginning of the meeting, the distinguished guest conveyed sincere greetings and best wishes from King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdul-Aziz Al-Saud and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman Al-Saud to the head of our state.
Topical issues of further expansion of Uzbek-Saudi multifaceted cooperation and full-scale partnership in the context of practical implementation of high-level agreements were discussed.
The dynamic development of fruitful interaction was noted with deep satisfaction. Contacts at all levels have intensified. The volume of mutual trade, direct investment, and the number of joint ventures are growing. The frequency of flights between the two countries has increased.
The portfolio of joint projects has reached $27 billion. A number of major energy projects worth $15 billion are being implemented with ACWA Power company.
The fruitful results of the regular meetings of the Intergovernmental Commission and the Business Council, which took place recently in Tashkent, were highly appreciated, within the framework of which new agreements and contracts were signed.
Special attention was paid to the soonest implementation of projects and initiatives in the sphere of green energy, agriculture, electronics, real estate, infrastructure modernization in the regions of the country and other priority areas.
