The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, participated in a joint event – a concert featuring masters of culture and art from the three countries.

In his welcoming speech, the Head of our state sincerely congratulated the brotherly peoples on the holiday of spring renewal, Navruz, and the holy Ramadan Hayit.

– Today is truly a great and long-awaited holiday for our peoples. We have signed the historic Treaty on the point of junction of the state borders of the three countries. From now on, the borders are lines of brotherhood, a space of new opportunities, creation, and integration, – noted the President.

It was emphasized that our peoples share one sacred land, one religion, one destiny, similar concerns, joys, and aspirations. Now, our duty is to transform this beautiful land together for the worthy and happy life of both current and future generations.

In recent years, due to the shared political will, there have been enormous positive changes in the relations between our countries.

Today, the Treaty on allied relations between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan has entered into force. A similar document will be signed soon between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.

Trade, investment, freight transportation, and mutual citizens’ travel indicators are growing dynamically. The number of successful cooperation examples is increasing.

It was noted that during today’s negotiations, agreements were reached on creating favorable conditions for business and cultural exchanges, increasing the frequency of direct flights, and launching new bus routes between cities in the border regions.

Special attention was given to the regular holding of cultural events, creative festivals, youth forums, and sports competitions.

– Art knows no boundaries, its great mission is to unite people. And today’s concert of talented masters of the arts from the three countries once again demonstrates the richness, diversity, and unity of our cultures, – concluded the President of Uzbekistan.
