President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the presentation dedicated to the implementation of advanced modern experience and competence in the geology sector.
It was emphasized at the meeting that one of the priority tasks is developing national geology system at the modern scientific and technological level, expanding mineral and resource base, ensuring deep processing of mineral resources.
The world practice demonstrates that it is possible to identify new deposits using artificial intelligence even in remote areas. In this regard, special meaning is devoted to expanding regional exploration studies and applying modern geophysical methods.
In this connection, the responsible persons presented a project on the creation of a Competence center jointly with international partners, including one of the leading world scientific centers in the sphere of mining – Colorado School of Mines (USA), which will integrate scientific, research and practical activities.
The main tasks of the center would become implementing digital solutions, artificial intelligence technologies, air-geophysical research in exploration. It’s planned to conduct digital analysis of data, integrate results of geochemical and space-geological research, as well as accelerate the process of identifying prospective deposits, based on the advanced foreign experience.
The Head of our state approved the presented proposals and gave instructions on organizing works in the geological sector aimed at expanding international cooperation, active implementation of modern technologies, identifying and developing prospective areas.
