On July 5, at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev departed for Azerbaijan on a working visit to participate in the Informal Summit of the Organization of Turkic States.
The agenda of the extraordinary meeting of the Council of Heads of State, which will be held under the theme “Building a Sustainable Future through Transport Connectivity and Climate Action”, includes issues of further deepening regional cooperation in trade and conomic, transport and communications, investment and finance, as well as “green” economy, renewable energy, climate change and human capital development.
