At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a state visit to Azerbaijan on August 22-23.
The programme of the visit envisages high-level talks and other events with the participation of the leaders of the two countries.
The agenda includes issues of further deepening Uzbek-Azerbaijani relations of strategic partnership and expanding practical cooperation in priority areas.
Following the talks, it is envisaged to adopt a package of bilateral agreements.
