On June 6, at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay an official visit to this country.
The program of the visit includes the third meeting of the Strategic Cooperation Council to be held in Ankara under the chairmanship of the leaders of the two States.
The agenda of the summit includes the further development and strengthening of Uzbek-Turkish relations of comprehensive strategic partnership.
Special attention will be paid to the expansion of practical interaction, first of all, to increase the volume of trade turnover, promotion of cooperative projects in industry, “green” energy, electro-technical, textile, pharmaceutical industries, the agricultural sector and other sectors, including the public-private partnership programme.
Active cultural and humanitarian exchange will be considered. There will be an exchange of views on relevant aspects of international policy.
Following the high-level talks, it is planned to adopt a number of bilateral documents.
In addition, the Presidents of Uzbekistan and Türkiye will hold the first joint meeting with the heads of the leading enterprises and companies of the two countries.
