During his stay in the Republic of Korea, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev received Kim Beom-ho, Acting President of Incheon International Airport Corporation.
The sides discussed progress on projects to modernize Urgench International Airport and construct a new Tashkent International Airport.
The company’s plans to open an office in Tashkent were supported. It was proposed to establish a competence center for airport management, digitalization and personnel training on the basis of this office.
The Korean side emphasized its readiness to continue actively participating in joint projects, introduce advanced experience and technologies in airport management, and expand long-term partnership with Uzbekistan.
