As part of his state visit to the Republic of Korea, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, in keeping with a good tradition, met with compatriots working and studying in the country.
During an open and informal conversation, the participants discussed the implementation of reforms in New Uzbekistan and the contribution of compatriots to actively promoting these reforms.
The participants shared a number of proposals aimed at expanding economic, scientific and educational ties between Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea.
Particular emphasis was placed on integrating artificial intelligence and Korean digital technologies into key sectors of the national economy and public administration, promoting innovative solutions in healthcare, transport, customs and tourism, accelerating the development of national payment systems and money transfer platforms, as well as training specialists in information technology.
Specific proposals were also put forward to deepen cultural and humanitarian ties, including expanding the network of Uzbek cultural centers in the Republic of Korea, developing Uzbek language study programs, organizing cultural events in both countries, and translating works of Uzbek classical literature into Korean.
Expressing gratitude to his compatriots for their significant contribution to the socioeconomic development of Uzbekistan, the Head of State emphasized that every initiative put forward would be thoroughly studied and that the most significant projects would receive comprehensive practical support.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev wished the professors, entrepreneurs, activists and students present success in their studies and professional activities, emphasizing that the state is always open to dialogue with them and ready to create all necessary conditions for realizing their creative potential.
In turn, the participants expressed sincere gratitude to the President of Uzbekistan for the unprecedented attention and new opportunities for self-realization, assuring him of their full readiness to apply their knowledge and energy for the benefit and prosperity of Uzbekistan.
