During his visit to Andijan region, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev toured the Sokin Savdo Servis poultry cluster in Balykchi district.
Poultry meat plays an important role in the population’s diet due to its dietary qualities and affordability. Therefore, special attention is paid in the country to establishing large poultry complexes, localizing production and ensuring a stable supply of quality products to the market.
The Sokin Savdo Servis cluster was established in 2010. Today, it includes five poultry farms in Andijan region and three in Namangan region. Poultry feed is produced at the company’s enterprise in Tashkent region.
The cluster has established a complete production cycle encompassing feed production, poultry rearing, slaughter, meat processing and packaging, as well as delivery to consumers. The meat processing complex is fully automated and meets high hygiene standards.
The $29 million project employs 417 people.
Currently, 1.5 million broiler chickens are raised at the complex. Its production capacity allows for the annual rearing of 8.2 million broilers and the production of 20,600 tons of poultry meat.
The complex also has the capacity to process 55,000 tons of chicken meat and semi-finished products annually. Its products are manufactured in accordance with Halal, HACCP and ISO standards.
Since the beginning of this year, a breeding division has also been established within the cluster. It currently houses 25,000 breeding hens, with plans to produce 7.6 million broiler chicks annually from 9 million eggs.
By the end of 2027, a rendering line for processing poultry waste will be launched and a multi-tier cage system for poultry farming will be introduced. A total of $10 million will be invested in these two projects.
In addition, it is proposed to integrate idle or financially struggling poultry farms into a unified cooperation system with the cluster. The initiative is expected to restore 350-400 jobs and enable the additional rearing of 1.7 million poultry.
The Head of State was briefed on the cluster’s production processes, finished products and promising new projects.
