On September 25, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received Long Yuxiang, Chairman of the China International Cultural Communication Center, and Chan Hung-to, founder of the Hong Kong-based company JDB Group.
The meeting focused on further deepening the comprehensive all-weather strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and China in a new era and strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties.
The sides noted the significant contribution of the Center to strengthening multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and China. A number of projects in the areas of infrastructure development, investments, and green industry have been jointly implemented.
The development of modern urban, transport and industrial infrastructure, as well as geology, were identified as priority areas for JDB Group’s activities in Uzbekistan.
Following the meeting, the sides agreed to accelerate the implementation of ongoing and new projects involving the company.
